THE EAR FOREST IN SPRINGTIME
We’ll embark on a ten-day audio adventure starting on April Fools Day at the Lewis & Clark University in Portland, Oregon. As the inaugural artist-in-residence at the campus’s Experimental Art and Research (E.A.R.) Forest, we’ll create a sound piece with artist Daniel Disciglio and Professor Jess Perlitz. It will be installed in the forest utilizing the EAR Forest’s 16-channel audio system installed in the trees.
Schedule:
Thursday, April 4, 6:30 pm: Film screening and artists talk
Monday, April 8, 11am,: Lunchtime picnic during a partial eclipse
Tuesday, April 9, 5-6:30pm : Opening reception celebrating the inaugural residency with of the Ecosexy Sound Installation.
