Art, Activism & Equity: A Retrospective on San Francisco’s Cultural Evolution
June 1, 2024, 3 - 5 pm
This event, co-sponsored by the San Francisco Public Library and funded by an Individual Artist Grant from the San Francisco Arts Commission, and a Major Project grant from the Arts Research Institute at UC Santa Cruz will feature artists, Annie Sprinkle, Beth Stephens, Pam Peniston, Idris Ackamoor, Marie Acosta, and grantwriter Jeff Jones. Together we will discuss the roots of cultural equity in San Francisco, and tell the story of how this arts in SF have influenced arts funding and practice across the nation. Three Events in Europe June 2024: Splash (Warsaw) and Ecosex Walking Ritual (Düsseldorf) and Academy of Fine Arts (Prague)
June 14 - 23, 2024
E.A.R.T.H. Lab is teaming up with Gallery lokal 30 gallery, to exhibit Splash: eco + hydrosexuals unite! and Düsseldorf's Lantz'scher Park to perform Ecosex Walking Ritual and then we'll round June our with a three day workshop at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague.
